Laser Micromachining Limited (LML)

LML, a St Asaph-based company, provides effective and economic solutions and shortens time-to-market for new product ideas using laser manufacturing techniques. LML evaluates design ideas swiftly and provides a rapid route to manufacturing using its world-class laser facilities, which include:

  • Evaluation/ proof-of-concept trials;
  • Applications developments;

MicroBridge Services Ltd

MicroBridge is a design, prototyping and small-volume manufacturing solutions provider using micro engineering and machining. It offers a comprehensive range of micro engineering and fabrication services enabling the design, development and manufacture of micro-enhanced products.

Centre for NanoHealth (CNH)

This Swansea-based centre is pioneering collaborative and multidisciplinary research, combining the expertise of clinicians, engineers and physical scientists in the application of nanotechnology to healthcare. CNH provides opportunities to work at the cutting-edge interface between Engineering Biomedical Science and clinical delivery.

Services include:

  • Embedded Class 2 biological facilities;
  • A unique open-access printing laboratory;
  • Provision for scientists/engineers to work with nonsilicon- based materials;
